Aquarium de La Rochelle

The aquarium is located opposite the Old Port of La Rochelle. On a surface of 8,445 m2, it exposes 12,000 animals of 600 different species distributed among 73 aquariums. Each year, it welcomes over 800,000 visitors, making it the most visited aquarium in France, and one of the largest aquariums in Europe.

With each visit of the novelties, and various free exhibitions in the hall. The shop, "Memories of Oceans", offers an original selection of souvenirs. On the second floor accessible independently of the visit, the "Café de l'Aquarium" restaurant offers a seasonal menu in a tropical atmosphere.
